Homecoming

Baya weaver and nest pastel drawing on pastelmat paper inspired by a beautiful photo taken by my friend and wildlife photographer Pranav Joshi. I wanted to capture the depth and warmth of the nest, so I used a dark core for it and added a soft airbrush-like background using soft pastels.

No Fixatives are applied on the drawing.
